1. 01This program is designed for individuals with a background in IT, engineering, or related fields who want to pivot into cloud solutions architecture. It's also suited for tech industry professionals seeking to upskill in AWS technologies. A basic understanding of computing and networking principles is beneficial but not required, as these skills will be developed during the training. The training is carried out in small groups to ensure sufficient time for mentor feedback.

Õppekava koostamise alus

1. 01This curriculum is based on the AWS Cloud Solutions Architect learning path, incorporating the latest AWS technologies and best practices as outlined by AWS and supplemented by real-world applications facilitated through mentor-led sessions.

Õpingute alustamise tingimused

1. 01Language skills required to start studying:1) English language proficiency
2. 02Understanding text: You must understand texts composed of frequently occurring words or words related to your work. Knowledge of data analytics terminology is not necessary to start the training; these terms will be learned along with other topics.
3. 03Participation in group meetings: Fluent English language skills are required for meaningful participation in online group meetings. If the study group consists only of Estonian speakers, spoken English language skills are not required. Participants must be able to use a camera-enabled mobile device and sufficiently private space to participate in online group meetings. A Google email account is required to join the Google Chat channel created for the training group. Those interested in the training can receive initial feedback on the suitability of this particular training. During this process, it will become clear how realistic it is to attend real-time online seminars and whether it is necessary to participate in on-site training sessions with more trainer support.

4. 04Practical exercises using the AWS Management Console.
5. 05Independent project work to apply learning and build a portfolio guided by mentors.
6. 06Tasks provided by the mentor coach, which the learner completes before individual and group mentoring sessions. Feedback is provided by the mentor coach and/or peer learners: queries from datasets, data cleaning, data visualization, compiling a portfolio reflecting the level of skills for applying for a job in the data analytics field, and updating one's LinkedIn profile for the attention of IT recruiters, taking into account the interests of Cloud Solutions Architect employers. The weekly estimated workload of independent learning varies from 1-3 academic hours depending on the learner's previous exposure to the data analytics field. The learner will be given access to the online learning platform on the training start date.

1. 01Independent learning takes place in the online learning environment, access is granted to accepted learners. An internet-connected mobile device is required. Meetings with the mentor and group work are online real time activities.

1. 01Learners will use online learning courses tailored for AWS solutions architecture, AWS official documentation, whitepapers, and the AWS Management Console for hands-on practice.

1. 01To complete the training, the learner must achieve learning outcomes. At the end of the course, the student presents his/her thesis, in which he presents the skills he has learned. Upon successful completion, learners receive:A certificate of completion from Ettevõtluskeskus OÜ.Preparation for obtaining the AWS Certified Solutions Architect
2. 02Associate certification. Participants are encouraged to take the official AWS certification exam to validate their skills internationally. If the learner did not achieve all learning outcomes or did not want to be assessed, a certificate of participation is issued.
